EASY FINANCE (PRIVATE) LIMITED (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the LoanLado mobile application (the “App”) and provide various loan services on the App (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) informs you of our collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Data when you use our App or any Service provided thereon and the choices you have associated with your Personal Data.

1. Agree to the Agreement

We use your Personal Data to provide and improve the experience on our App and the Service. By using the App and the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. You will not be able to use the relevant service on the App if you disagree with these terms or withdraw your consent for us to collect and access certain information; in this case, please immediately stop using the App or any Services and close the App.

2. Scope of this Policy

2.1 This Policy applies to your access, registration, provision of information, uploading or providing files or otherwise using or subscribing to the Company's products, services, applications, websites or networks, all of which are subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy. This includes data, videos, advertising, Internet and other products, services and applications.

2.2 This Privacy Policy also applies to you and anyone who uses our products or services through your account, and you are responsible for ensuring that you understand this Privacy Policy.

2.3 You are responsible for ensuring that all personal data submitted to the Company is correct. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy and completeness of your personal data and keeping it up to date.

3. What information do we collect

Our application is designed to provide you with easy access to financial products and services, regardless of your financial background or credit history. To do this, we will collect certain personal information from you. If you click "Reject", we may not be able to provide you with services, and we will not be able to access or upload your personal information.

When you install the LoanLado App to use loan services, we will obtain the following information:

Information pertaining to user identity: CNIC Number, Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Residential Address, Reference Contact, Education Information, Work Information, Marital Status, Bank Account Information, Biometric Information, inclusive of Facial Data;

CAMERA

When you apply for a loan, we need to obtain camera permissions, mainly for the following purposes:

  • Use the camera to take photos to CNIC and obtain the identity information required for the loan, such as name, date of birth, CNIC number, etc.
  • Use the camera to complete face verification

These photos will help us verify the authenticity of your identity information and prevent fraud. We will not access the albums or photos on your device.

DEVICE INFORMATION

The information we collect from your device includes advertising ID, unique ID i.e., IMEI number, information on operating system, SDK version and mobile network information including carrier name, SIM Slot, your profile information, Wi-Fi network information.

The information the App collects, and how that information is used, depends on how you manage your privacy controls on your device. When you install the App, we store the information we collect with unique identifiers tied to the device you’re using. We collect information from the device when you download and install the App and explicitly seek permissions from you to get the required information from the device.

We collect information about your device to provide automatic updates and additional security so that others can't use your account on your behalf. In addition, the information provides us valuable feedback on your identity as a device holder as well as your device behavior, thereby allowing us to improve our services and provide an enhanced customized user experience to you.

Besides, the advertising ID information is used for the purpose of fraud prevention, security, and compliance. For instance, we use this information to monitor failed login attempts so as to identify possible fraudulent activities.

APPLICATION ACTIVITY

We need access to the activity in the application, including package name, application name, time of first installation and time of application updates. We will upload this information to our servers at https://www.loanlado.com encrypted for the purpose of identifying and analyzing behavior and risk in multiple loans to assess whether the loan can be processed, which helps prevent fraud.

REFERENCE CONTACT

We do not access users' contacts, Borrowers are only required to enter the contact details of their reference contacts during the loan application process. This allows us to verify the customer's and reference contact 's identities via phone/text message, prevent fraud, and track collections. We upload this contact information to our servers in an encrypted format within a secure network environment.

FUZZY POSITIONING

When you use our services, we may collect your positioning information to help us assess risks. This permission is not mandatory, and you have the right to decide whether to enable this function without affecting the services we provide to you. We will not share it with any third party without permission.

COLLABORATOR

The SDK that we connect with Deeplink third-party services is released through multiple social networks such as Google and Facebook. Distinguishes the attribution source of user channels and transmits the identity of each channel. Deeplink and LoanLado do not obtain or use any information from users' private accounts.

4. Use/Purpose of Personal Data

The Personal Data collected by us will be processed, collected, used, disclosed, stored, and retained for the following purposes:

  1. To process registration of account/s and to determine or assist in determination of decisions as part of screening of the investors, borrowers, registrations or loan applications, and/or to deliver our products and/or services to the User and any directly related purposes;
  2. To facilitate loan processing from application, review, monitoring, payment, collection and other remedial measures;
  3. To maintain internal records;
  4. To market and offer new, related or complementary products and services to the User;
  5. To conduct background check and identity verification;
  6. To conduct and perform fraud monitoring, detection, analysis and prevention;
  7. To prevent, detect and investigate actual or suspected crime and analyze and manage commercial risks;
  8. To conduct data analytics and tracking;
  9. To conduct market research to enable us to understand and determine customer location, preferences and demographics to develop special offers, products or marketing programs in relation to products and services, and to improve (i.e., customized offers and products) such products and services;
  10. To perform research on data to conduct investigations relating to disputes, payment, suspected illegal activities or fraud;
  11. To develop, enhance and maintain a risk assessment process and model, offline and online;
  12. For any other legal and/or regulatory purposes (including but not limited to obtaining legal advice and dispute resolution) and legitimate business purposes and to carry out all mandatory administrative, operational and legal duties.

5. Acquisition and updating of data

Personal data will be obtained and updated through:

  1. When you download the LoanLado application and request a loan.
  2. Third parties and public sources, with your consent when necessary.
  3. When you interact with us, including but not limited to consulting services, visiting websites, updating information, etc.

6. Data retention and deletion

All data will be encrypted and uploaded to our https://www.loanlado.com server. We are committed to using appropriate security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, misuse and disclosure, depending on the type of data and how we process it. We retain information about you to provide you with a smooth experience, to contact you if you need help, and to detect, mitigate, prevent and investigate fraudulent or illegal activities. We keep your data for as long as necessary to provide you with our services. We may also retain and use your personal data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. However, you have the option to view, edit or delete your private personal data. In any case, you can request the update or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. However, please note that after deleting your data, you may not be able to use our services.

7. User right

  1. You have the right to know, update and correct your personal data. This right can be exercised in situations where the data is partial, inaccurate, incomplete, confusing or when its processing is prohibited or has not been expressly authorized.
  2. You have the right to request evidence of the authorization granted, unless it is expressly established as a requirement for the processing of the data.
  3. You have the right to be informed, upon request, about the use that has been given to your personal data.
  4. You have the right to revoke the authorization and/or request the deletion of your data when its processing does not comply with the established principles, rights, constitutional and legal guarantees. If you wish to delete your data, you have two options available. You can log in to the app and manually delete your account, or you can contact us by sending an email to info@easyfinance.tech. We will be available to help you in both cases.

8. Service Providers

We may share data with third parties, such as Google, Facebook, etc. for the following purposes:

  • improve our service levels;
  • to improve the Services on our behalf;
  • perform audit-related services;
  • to assist us in analyzing how our services are used.
  • support network and data management

We want to inform users of this service that these third parties have access to their personal information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obliged not to disclose or use this information for any other purpose.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

9.1 We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this application.

9.2 You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy will be effective subject to consent of the user. You agree to the collection and use of the information you disclose on this application in accordance with this Privacy Policy by using this application and/or by providing your information, including but not limited to your consent for the collection, use, sharing, and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy in accordance with Circular 15 of 2022 issued by Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

10. Protection of Minors

We place great value on the protection of minors' personal information. As required by applicable laws and regulations, any user under the age of 18 should be banned to use our service. As the parent or statutory guardian of a minor, it is your responsibility to prohibit your child from using our service. Otherwise, all legal consequences are borne by yourself.

11. Contact Details and Responsible Entity

Any disputes regarding this Policy shall be subject to LoanLado’s terms and conditions, including, but not limited to, any provisions relating to indemnification, limitation of liability with respect to damages, choice of law and forum for dispute resolution. We request that you first submit any such complaints directly to us through the relevant customer service desk or helpline.
